You’ll receive over 10 hours of HABIA-endorsed training focused on flow, feeling, and technique, designed to refine your skills, deepen your confidence, and help you craft your own powerful, intuitive treatments.

All training, meals, and activities take place on site in a peaceful, coastal setting. Think hot tubs under the stars, a private yoga studio, guided meditation, a sound bath, a sea walks, and time to rest, breathe, and reconnect.

I will spend a day with you and any staff at your premises, helping you create a stand-out Signature Treatment. However, this is about more than just the facial. I want to inspire you to create a stunning, AND PROFITABLE, client journey you will feel proud of.

If you are a busy salon owner, you can also use this day to train your team in exceptional treatments, running a private team training day to give you the edge.

To create a Signature Treatment that stands out from the crowd, we need to consider the environment, consultation, products, massage skills, protocol, desired outcome, aftercare, sales, pricing, marketing, your treatment menu and YOU, the practitioner. These all matter, and we will work through each element together.

The 1:1 Process

Your experience means everything to me. Each 1:1 session is tailored to your unique needs, as every business is different. Here’s an outline of how 1:1 works.

A discovery call.
We start with a discovery call so I understand your business and goals, to make sure the mentor day is right for you. I want to create a day full of value, so there will be lots of questions to make sure we focus on the areas you need my help.

Full day held at your premises
On the day of our session, I will travel to you so I can see you in your environment. Depending on the focus of our day, we will work through your goals for the treatment, learning about who you want to work with and how to serve them at a deeper level. We can cover the protocol, modalities to be included, consultation, process for aftercare, treatment planning and develop a clear growth strategy.

Mentoring
I will always include a followup support however, you can extend your 1:1 day to include The Rise Mentoring Program - 3 months of ongoing mentoring, strategy, and mindset support because real growth needs time, depth, and someone in your corner.

I’m Jo, founder of The Skin&Soul Academy, a space where heart-led beauty therapy meets deep professional excellence. With over 30 years in the industry, I’ve walked a path that blends hands-on experience, soulful connection, and a commitment to empowering therapists to understand the value they bring to their clients and our industry.

My journey began in the treatment room, where I discovered that the most powerful experiences happen beneath the skin, in the nervous system, the emotions, the self-worth of the person on the table. That realisation became the foundation for everything I teach today.

As a trainer, speaker, and co-author of the book Shine, I’m on a mission to inspire therapists to move beyond routine, and towards intentional, intuitive treatments that reflect their own energy, values, and vision. I believe your hands are an extension of your heart, and when you treat from that place, your work becomes unforgettable.
